![]() ![]() In the book, she is always talking about how much she misses Lewis and how he is out looking for her and he will find her. Besides thinking about ways to hurt or kill Clover, she is also thinking about Lewis. She doesn't tell any of the other girls though because if one of them ever told Clover about what she was thinking, she knew Clover would kill her. ![]() ![]() Since there is not a lot to do in the cellar, she thinks about this a lot. So far, two girls have tried to kill Clover with a vase and both were killed by Clover. She is thinking about all these possibilities how she can hurt Clover with things and materials around the cellar. She has also thought about poisoning him with cleaning products. She is even thinking about using boiling water from the tea kettle to hurt him. This quote shows that Lily is always trying to think of new ways to hurt or even kill Clover. Lily explains “We could do a lot of damage with boiling water” (Preston 184). She is always trying to figure out ways they the girls can take Clover down. Lily (Summer) is thinking about escaping. ![]()
